> **A faster, more modern Brainframe experience — now available for early access.**

We've been working hard behind the scenes, and we're thrilled to announce that the **Next-Gen Frontend** for Brainframe is here. This is a complete rebuild of the interface you use every day — faster, cleaner, and built for the long run. The layout will remain the same, so no need to worry about not finding your way around the tool, the upgrades are purely visual.
---

## What Changed?

* **⚡ Significantly faster load times** — pages and modules open in a fraction of the time compared to the legacy interface.
* **🎨 Modern, refreshed design** — a cleaner layout with improved spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy across all modules.
* **📱 Better responsiveness** — the interface adapts more gracefully to different screen sizes and resolutions.
* **🛠 More consistent behaviour** — components behave predictably across the platform as you move between modules like Documents, Compliance, Risk, and Workbench.
* **⇌** **Advanced integrations** — Deeper integrations with external tools allowing you to stay inside Brainframe and have all information at your fingertips

All your data, configurations, and permissions remain exactly the same — only the interface has changed. The new platform is accessible at [**grc.brainframe.com**](https://grc.brainframe.com), while the legacy interface remains at [**my.brainframe.com**](https://my.brainframe.com) during the transition period.

---

## How to Try It Now

Starting **May 26th**, all users will see an in-app notification and a permanent button in the right top "Try Brainframe Next-gen" inside the legacy application ([my.brainframe.com](https://my.brainframe.com)) inviting them to try the Next-Gen Frontend at [grc.brainframe.com](https://grc.brainframe.com). Clicking it will automatically log you in — including SSO users — with no extra steps required.

Both platforms share the same login and data, so you can use them fully in parallel.

Click the button to be taken directly to the Next-Gen Frontend. You can continue using the legacy interface at any time during the transition period.

## 🔐 SSO Changes (SAML)

If your organization uses **Single Sign-On (SAML)**, you will need to update your Identity provider configuration to point to the new domain. Provisioning does **not** require any changes.

You can do this at any time that suits you. From the moment you update the URL in your Identity Provider (IDP), users logging in via [my.brainframe.com](https://my.brainframe.com) will automatically be redirected to [grc.brainframe.com](https://grc.brainframe.com).

### Steps to update your SAML configuration (Microsoft Entra example)

![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/3/f/2/6/3f26ce462760bc00/image-4_1reu8ws.png =964xauto)

1. Open the **Brainframe SSO Application** in Microsoft Entra
2. Select **Single sign-on**.
3. Click **Edit** on the **"Basic SAML Configuration"** section.
4. Change the **Identifier (Entity ID)** domain from `my.brainframe.com` to `grc.brainframe.com`, keeping the `/sso/<workspaceid>` path intact. Also replace any `/#/` in the URL with `/`, so the final URL follows the format: `https://grc.brainframe.com/sso/<workspaceId>`
5. Click **Save**.
6. Test your login when prompted to confirm everything works correctly.

---

## 🔗 Distribution Links

If your organization uses **Brainframe Distributions** and has published general links on your intranet or other internal pages, these links will need to be updated.

* Replace any existing distribution links pointing to `my.brainframe.com` with the equivalent links generated inside [grc.brainframe.com](https://grc.brainframe.com).
* You can find the new links by navigating to the same distribution inside the Next-Gen Frontend and copying the updated URL.

---

## 📋 Forms (Widget HTML & Links)

If your organization uses **Brainframe Forms** — either embedded as a widget on an external page or shared as a direct link — those will also need to be updated.

* Update the **widget HTML** or **form links** to use the new URLs from [grc.brainframe.com](https://grc.brainframe.com).
* Open each form inside the Next-Gen Frontend to retrieve the updated embed code or link.
