PECB Training & Certification FAQ

General Purchase & Enrolment Process

Q: How do I purchase and enrol in a PECB training course through Brainframe?

Create an account on PECB.com using your personal email.
Purchase your course on Brainframe.com using the same email. If applicable, include your company VAT details for invoicing.
Assignment of materials: Within 24 hours, we assign the course material directly to your PECB account, along with a free exam and retake.
Study period: You have 12 months to study and complete the exam.
Certification: Once you pass, PECB will issue the applicable credential as defined by the course experience requirements.

Training & Learning Materials

Q: Where will I access my training and study materials? All training materials, eLearning modules, exams, and certifications are delivered directly through the PECB website. Q: What types of training formats are available?

Self-study: Study the official course materials at your own pace.
eLearning: Study the official course materials at your own pace, combined with video materials for those that prefer visual learning
Both allow you to ask questions to material experts through the customers@pecb.com email
We do not offer any in person PECB trainings at Brainframe. Q: How long do I have access to my training materials? You will have access to your training materi

Folder structure

Don't want to loose years of structure and work, or simply want to start fresh but don't want to spend hours learning new concepts? We have you covered, because within Brainframe, everything is based on a familiar folder structure, and everything is simply a document.

You can use our best practice folder structured provided during the onboarding, or import your existing folder structure and documents to give you a visual hierarchy of your data. Once imported, you can immediately start augmenting your content with our +100 different document types, document properties, approval workflows and many more features

Structured data

Everyone has their own private inbox, where you'll find recent activity and personal/documents you have flagged as important. From there you get access to specific folders depending on your role in the company. Notice the color indicators on the folders, which you can use to quickly visualize the status of a specific folder.

Missed Tasks 🔴 — ⚠ Number of overdue items you must address immediately.

The dashboard organizes information into three collapsible sections:

Moving and Linking Folders

Moving and Linking to Folders

| Documents in Brainframe can exist in one or more folders at the same time, meaning you only need to update them once and changes will appear everywhere they are linked.

Move and Link Documents

Moving and linking can be done from the "Link or move item to other folder" option in the action menu of the document section.

Options in the Move/Link Screen

Move to folder – Moves the document to the folder you select in step 4.
Link to folder – Links the document to the folder you select in step 4.
Copy to workspace – Copies the document to another workspace. You can optionally enable the current workspace document as the "Master document" so updates made in one workspace reflect in all linked workspaces.

4. Target folder name – Type the name of the folder in the current or target workspace.

Dependencies

In addition to linked documents and document dependency tracking, the Dependencies module provides a visual way to see how all your data is connected.

With this module, you can create a "collection" — a custom selection of specific document types for which you want to visualize relationships.

Creating a Collection

The first time you open the Dependencies module: The very first time you click on the dependencies module (1), you'll be able to Add a dependency collection (2), or when you already have some, you can create a new one from the select dependencies menu (3). Both will open the following screen

|| Info: When a collection is created, it becomes a document in the current folder. Standard folder permissions control who can see it.

The different document types for which dependencies should be shown when selecting this collection
A quick selection selection of a group of documents (e.g. all Digital assets, all Physical assets, …) || Info: When a collection is created, it simply becomes a document in the current folder, which allows you to define who can see it and who not by using the standard folder permissions
