Objective Tracker

๐ŸŽฏ Objective Tracker

"Define, measure, and track progress with KPIs and OKRs."
Ensure your information security, quality, and organizational objectives are measurable and continuously improving.

The Objective Tracker lets you create, monitor, and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).

Each KPI is treated as a dedicated document type, ensuring traceability, version control, and consistent measurement.

1๏ธโƒฃ Creating a KPI

To create a KPI:

  • Click NEW and filter on KPI.

Fill in the following fields:

  1. Unique Identifier โ€“ By default it looks like (KPI-0x) but you can customize it.
  2. Title โ€“ Name of the KPI.
  3. Document Properties โ€“ For example, assign an Owner linked to an Employee, Consultant, or Role & Responsibility document. We recommend the latter so you don't have to think about updating it in case someone in the company leaves and is replaced.
  4. Template โ€“ Use the KPI template to describe objective, purpose, and measurement method.

Choose whether to:

  1. Add the KPI document to a checklist in the Workbench.
  2. Create the KPI document standalone.

2๏ธโƒฃ Doing KPI Readings

Any document can have KPI readings, giving you full flexibility.

Before you do an actual KPI reading on a document, it is just a document. Only as soon as a first KPI reading has been done, it will be represented on the KPI menu and tracked in time.

To add a KPI reading:

  • Click the three dots next to the document.

Complete the KPI Reading form:

  1. KPI Type โ€“ Unit, Financial, Percentage, or custom type.
  2. Methodology โ€“ Guidance for performing the reading.
  3. Measurements โ€“ Input values for calculation.
  4. Calculated Result โ€“ Automatically derived from the measurements.
  5. Justification/Evidence โ€“ Add notes or screenshots.
  6. Target Value โ€“ The defined goal.
  7. Document Properties โ€“ Auto-filled where possible.
  8. No Reading Possible โ€“ Record why, if applicable.
  9. Click Add KPI Reading.

๐Ÿ“Œ Info: Each risk reading creates a new document that represents the reading and evidences in the same folder as where the document of the risk is residing. This also allows you to "archive" or modify the details of a wrong risk readings

  4. Compare actuals against the target line (green).
  5. Add new readings directly.

4๏ธโƒฃ KPI Overview

The KPI Menu consolidates all KPI readings from documents in the current folder and its subfolders.
