Task Manager Integration
✅ Task Manager Integrations
"Keep your teams working in their preferred tools, while you maintain centralized oversight."
Brainframe integrates with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, and Azure DevOps to give you a unified compliance view of all tasks.
1️⃣ How It Works
- Set up API access
The first time you configure an integration, you’ll need to provide an API key.
- The API key grants read-only access to linked tickets.
- Brainframe cannot create tasks directly — you must first create them in the external tool.
- Link tasks to documents
Use the ⚡ Lightning Bolt icon inside any document to link an external task.
Alternatively, use the New → Link to Cloud Service option to add tickets directly to a folder.
- Search & select tickets
Depending on the selected tool, Brainframe opens a dedicated search interface where you can:
- 🔍 Search for existing tickets.
- 🕑 Quickly pick from recently created tickets.
- Representation in Brainframe
All linked tasks appear as documents inside the folder structure.
If linked via the Lightning Bolt, they will also appear in the Tasks section of the document.
- Viewing tasks inside Brainframe
Clicking a linked ticket opens it in document view. From here you can:
- Open the ticket in its original tool (e.g., “Open in Jira”).
- See the live status directly in Brainframe.
- Review the latest ticket details without leaving Brainframe.
2️⃣ Best Practices
- ⚡ Use the Lightning Bolt for direct linkage when documenting risks, incidents, or non-conformities.
- 📂 Organize tickets in folders for process-based views (e.g., Audit Findings, Risk Treatments).
- 🔍 Rely on Brainframe search to quickly locate linked tasks across multiple integrations.

- [ ] Task statuses verified against external systems
- [ ] Regularly audit API key validity and access scope
